WHO AM I?
Hi, my name is Emily Sherman! I am a Bay graduate looking to provide children with both excellent and private swim lessons this summer. I look forward to my third year of being a private swim teacher, and I hope your kids can find great success through me!
More About Me
I am a rising sophomore at The Ohio State University where I am studying Computer Science and Engineering. This will be my third year teaching swim lessons out of my home, and I am thrilled to be expanding my business. Before founding Swimming with Emily, I honed my skills at a reputable swim skill. Through hands-on experience and comprehensive CPR training I developed a keen understanding of not only teaching swimming but also prioritizing safety above all else.
My Experience
My experience extends beyond the classroom and into the pool, where I’ve spent years working with children of all ages. From toddlers taking their first strokes to seasoned swimmers refining their techniques, I have experience with swimmers of different ages and abilities. In addition to swim lessons, I have experience in tutoring, babysitting, and teaching sports. This diverse background has equipped me with the patience, empathy, and communication skills necessary to connect with students in the water.
